SMS Terms & Conditions
These terms govern the text message (SMS) program operated by Sun Mountain Lumber, Inc. ("we," "us," "our"). By opting in, you agree to them.
What the program is
We send text messages to customers about their own business with us. Messages may include:
- The status of your open scale ticket — product, weights recorded so far, and the amount owed
- A link to review and pay your ticket
- Confirmation once a payment has been received
- Our current yard hours
- Current firewood rates
Every message is sent in response to something you asked for or a transaction you started. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How you join
You can opt in either way:
- At our kiosk. When you check in at the self-service kiosk in the front office, you may enter your mobile number and tap a consent checkbox. The box is never pre-checked, and you can complete your check-in without it.
- By texting us. Sending
HRS,PRICE,STATUS, orPAYto our number asks us to reply on that subject.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of any service we provide.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Most messages are sent only when you request one or when you have an open ticket with us, so the number you receive depends on how often you visit and what you ask for.
Cost
We do not charge for this program. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to cancel.
You will receive one confirmation and then no further messages. To rejoin later, reply
START.
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us using the details
below. You may also ask us to remove your number by calling or emailing.
Supported carriers
The program is supported by major United States wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and their affiliates and resellers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Delivery is not guaranteed. Messages may be delayed or fail for reasons outside our control, including carrier issues, network coverage, and device settings. Do not rely on a text message for anything time-critical.
Your privacy
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number, or your consent to receive text messages, with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used to operate this program and to identify your account with us.

Ticket and payment links
Messages about an open ticket are sent only to the phone number recorded on that ticket. If you receive a payment link, it opens a page showing what you are paying for before any payment is taken. We never ask for card numbers, account numbers, or passwords by text message, and we will never send you a text asking you to reply with one.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above will change when we do. Continuing to participate after an update means you accept the revised terms.
